My paintings from the series "Architecture, My Life" talk specifically about
architectural forms. I am mainly interested in portraying urban centers in an
abstracted manner. The reason is because I grew up a family of architects and
therefore architecture has occupied an important part of my life.
I portray urban areas in Monterrey because I feel deeply attracted to the beauty of the Mexican buildings, their geometric forms and their colors.
My body of work is characterized by the combination of brilliant colors, textures and constructions materials. My paintings vary in size and most of them are in a size range from 3 to 6 feet.
